My experience in the FM field, spanning nearly three decades, revealed a glaring gap between what traditional education offered and the actual, rapidly evolving demands of the industry. It was during a particularly challenging mobilisation projects that the spark was ignited. These projects underscored the critical need for a specialised training programmes that could effectively prepare professionals for the complexities of mobilisation and contract transformation, blending strategic insight with practical application. Recent polls I have taken indicate the challenges although known are still an industry wide problem. This realisation was compounded by my encounters with professionals across the industry who felt ill-prepared to navigate the intricacies of their roles, particularly when it came to initiating, managing, and optimising FM contracts.
