Biography

Teresa is a TEDx speaker, Non-Executive Director and author of Amazon bestseller Closing the Gap – 5 steps to creating an Inclusive Culture, and the Accelerating Inclusion Research Report. She has developed a range of tools and resources as part of her unique Inclusion & Belonging methodology, tribe5 Diversity & Inclusion ™

Teresa is also a keynote speaker, thought-leader and influencer in areas of Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity and Belonging. She has spoken at conferences including Festival of Global People, Institute of Directors (IoD) Diversity & Inclusion Roadshow, CIPD Midlands Annual conference and the National Asian Fire Service Association (AFSA) Conference. She has appeared as a panellist at the D&I Conference (London) and has judged at the UK Business and UK Employee Experience Awards.

Teresa is an multi award winning entrepreneur including 'Most Influential Businesswoman of the Year' at the Midlands MBCC Award, Woman Who Achieves Award for 'Change Champion' and has also been recognised as one of the Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs.

She is a regular media Commentator and has appeared on the BBC Sunday Politics show and Radio, as well as having her own Podcast series Inclusion247. Her articles have featured in the Sunday Times (Raconteur), Forbes, BA Business Magazine, IoD Director Magazine, People Management and HR Director.

Teresa is working party Advisory Business Board member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Women in Enterprise and Chair of the ESG Workstream, influencing government on policy to address sustainable inclusion. Teresa also sits on several advisory boards including: Royal Holloway University Business Advisory Board, Men for Inclusion, Data & Marketing Association (DMA) Talent Council.

Teresa is a Peter Jones Foundation Mentor supporting young people to realise their potential and kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.
